When you hire Mist + Moss, you’ll ALWAYS get full day coverage. This means you don’t have to worry about hourly limits, and things like drone footage and capturing audio are included at no extra charge. I believe each couple I work for deserves a stress free experience and the best film I can deliver.

Fewer hours doesn’t always mean less work. But it may mean that I’m not able to capture the full story we’re trying to tell.

If you don’t want me to be filming with you for the full day, I’ll make good use of that time getting footage that will add to your film!

Hi Chad here! I film each signature collection personally, as well as head up the editing and communication prior to the wedding. You do have the option of working with an associate, but you will never be given an associate without knowing it.

Drone footage is always included at no extra charge! I am licensed by the FAA with our part 107 certification so there will be no liability issues. There are times where I am limited by where the FAA allows me to fly, and also by venue restrictions, so make sure to check with your venue if drone footage is important to you.

I take a variety factors into consideration when selecting music. Your story and personality, the energy and vibe of your wedding, and of course your preferences. I've found that in the end it often helps the tone of the final film if I select the songs based on this inspiration, rather than you having to cull through our music library and pick something on your own. Also keep in mind that in accordance with Federal law, any songs featured in your film must be licensed.

I approach weddings like a documentarian, capturing the day as it happens. My philosophy is all about creating space for you to be yourselves and enjoy the moment. When you watch your film in 20 years, I want you to be able to feel how incredible your wedding was.

One thing I’ve heard from past couples a lot is that I can be a very calming presence on the wedding day. I’ve filmed hundreds of weddings, and have seen just about everything! I seldom get stressed on the wedding day and am pretty go with the flow.

At the end of the day, I often have over 3 hours of raw footage that I’ve filmed. The standard deliverable is my signature 5-7 minute wedding film, but you do have the option of adding raw footage as a deliverable to any of our collections!
